Winter

This winter landscape was photographed near the base of Grouse Mountain. I was struck by the textures of the snow, three layers of trees fading into the distance, and the bright red gondola that adds a spark of colour. It’s a reminder of how a simple scene can become inspiring when you pause to notice the details.
